Scissors Safety Rules
Scissors are sharp.
Caution should be taken when using scissors.
Never run with scissors.
Safely hand over scissors. Wrap hand around closed blades, handle up.

Safely carry scissors. Wrap hand around closed blades, handle up.
Scissors are a tool, not a toy.
Never cut hair, clothing, backpacks, etc.

Tables are the best place to use scissors.

Using Glue

Keep the cap on when not in use

Keep the glue on your paper, not hands, table, etc.

Roll a small amount of glue at a time.

Ask for help if you need help.

Throw the glue away if it is gone. You don't have to show the empty glue to your teacher.

Put the glue back in the glue bucket with the lid snapped on tightly.
